Purpose
To protect the intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, and competitive interests of exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, and attendees, video recording is strictly prohibited at Eastern Energy Expo unless expressly authorized in writing by the Event Organizer.
Scope
This policy applies to all attendees, including but not limited to:
- Exhibitors and their staff
- Speakers and panelists
- Sponsors, partners, and vendors
- Media and press representatives
Prohibited Activities
Unless prior written approval is granted by Eastern Energy Expo, the following activities are not permitted:
- Video recording of booths, displays, demonstrations, or products
- Recording of presentations, panels, workshops, or keynote sessions
- Recording of conversations, meetings, or interactions on the show floor
- Live streaming or broadcasting in any form
This prohibition applies to all recording devices, including mobile phones, cameras, smart glasses, drones, and wearable technology.
Permitted Activities
- Photography (still images) may be allowed for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise posted or restricted by individual exhibitors.
- Exhibitors may record their own booths and staff only, provided no other booths, presentations, or attendees are captured without consent.
Authorized Recording
Any individual or organization seeking to conduct video recording must:
- Obtain prior written authorization from Eastern Energy Expo
- Comply with all conditions specified in the authorization
- Display required credentials or badges at all times
Unauthorized media credentials are not permitted.
Enforcement
Eastern Energy Expo reserves the right to:
- Request immediate cessation of unauthorized recording
- Require deletion of recorded content
- Remove violators from the event without refund
- Revoke credentials or access privileges
Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent exclusion from future events.
Privacy and Intellectual Property
Attendees acknowledge that:
- Exhibits and presentations may contain proprietary or confidential information
- Unauthorized recording may infringe intellectual property rights and privacy laws
Eastern Energy Expo assumes no liability for violations committed by attendees.
Exceptions
This policy does not apply to:
- Official Eastern Energy Expo recordings
- Authorized event photographers or videographers
- Recordings required by law or approved accessibility accommodations
